PERSISTENCE IN THE ASSIGNMENT

Many times God will give you an assignment that seems extremely hard… the more you set yourself to do it, the more things seem to be even harder…

You begin to be so overwhelmed that you begin to doubt yourself… because every time you are at it, it’s just seems impossible!

But at the same this is what He has asked you to do, God has made His word clear to you and you know it deep inside you that this is exactly what you have to do even though He may seem silent at some point! The attacks begin to intensify and your strength begins to go out…

Today God reminds me of a woman prophetess Anna on Luke 2:36-37 who departrd not from the temple, but served God with prayer and fasting night and day…

”and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She did not depart from the temple, worshiping with fasting and prayer night and day. And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.“

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭37‬-‭38‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Anna never gave up her assignment of waiting for the savior throughout the nights and days of prayer and fasting… Her example is one we can all learn from because of her endurance, patience, perseverance and consistency… consistency in executing the assignment and not allowing doubt to creep in regardless of the physical situation…

I encourage you to stand on the word that God has given you in your assignment and continue to do as He has instructed you whether it makes sense or not… Choose to believe what God has told you and not what the enemy may whisper to you! The enemy is cunning and he out to deceive you from doing what you out to do! Choose to be unwavered & unshaken.

”so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.“

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

”Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified. The least one shall become a clan, and the smallest one a mighty nation; I am the Lord; in its time I will hasten it.“

STAND ON GODS WORD AND DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE.
